Haiti

I’m leaving for Haiti in the morning.  I haven’t slept for than 2 hours in the last three nights.  I’m not anxious or worried.  I just can’t stop thinking about their faces.  I’ve been staring at them for a year now as our church has helped build and orphanage and become deeply involved with about 140 fatherless children in Jeremie, Haiti.  I am so ready to play with them and love on them (and give immunizations) yikes!

But all that aside.  Any time I come face to face with poverty, loss and the orphan my life changes.  Looking forward to more life change.  I wonder if they know that they bless us more than we could ever bless them?
