The wait is hard, but fortunately my brain comes up with mindless tasks to fill Holiday weekends such as this one.  We have been facing a few challenges in the home decor department.

#1 Charlotte has outgrown her little dresser

#2 We needed a new tv stand

While staring at C’s dresser and contemplating what its fate should be I realized it was just the height I needed for a tv stand.  $20 later, for new paint and knobs, I have a retro tv stand WITH storage.  Hallelujah.
