Reflections on the garage sale

The garage sale was exciting and disappointing at the same time. I’m just being honest. I had high hopes of raising close to $1,000, but am so grateful for the $441.25 we were able to bring in. We were not allowed to post signs in our neighborhood and that may have hurt our exposure numbers. Now that I’m done complaining let me take a moment to rejoice.  (It seems we always do it in that order.)  $441.25!!! That is way more than we had a few days ago! In addition to being able to raise that money we were able to raise awareness for orphans everywhere. I had so many conversations and answered so many questions. My prayer is that a few seeds were planted in peoples hearts, seeds that will blossom and mature and lead them to either support adoption or adopt themselves! Check out the pictures below, Elliott was the entertainer at the sale. He charmed many a lady into buying our wares.  (=
