Tukula (we grow)…

There are days when things just plain get exciting.

For me; today is that day.

I recently stumbled upon Tukula

while poking around the internet for more fabulous companies that give back in big ways.

Like many other organizations I’ve featured in the past Tukula does more than “give back”.  They give it all.

Founded by a husband and wife duo, the Terranovas, Tukula provides an above average wage for women in Uganda.  In turn the women, seamstresses, turn out fashionable wears that we can purchase for a great price.  I recently took some time to read the women’s stories and how their lives have changed since encountering Tukula.  Check it out for yourself, inspiring.

So here’s the exciting part… the one I mentioned earlier.

I contacted Melissa Terranova because I loved what they were doing and loved the products.  A string of emails ensued and we were given a chance to do a little adoption fund-raising project with them!

Here’s how it works.  We will put selected products on the blog for you to view and fall in love with.  You can then purchase said products directly from us.  50% of the profits go into our adoption fund and 50% of the profits go back to Tukula and the great work they are doing in Uganda.  Pretty great right?  To view products please click here.
