Update on All things

First Update, the tooth stuff: Oil pulling has been happening for about 7 days, my teeth are feeling really smooth and they are whiter! So weird. I did experience some detox symptoms but those have subsided. I added tooth powder to my regimen yesterday so I’m saying goodbye to my trusty Sensitive toothpaste for now. I used the tooth powder recipe from the Wellness Mama blog but omitted the Xylitol and used essential oils in addition. So far so good and if you haven’t given Bentonite clay a try you must order some quickly, I’ve used it so much already! The facial mask was easy and effective!

Second Update, these kids: School is back in session after an extended and snowy break. Lola is doing super well and English is improving daily. We are still working with the school to assess what her full educational needs will be. This is probably the thing that induces the most stress in my life right now. The stay at home mom thing is pretty great now that I’ve found my rhythm. Being with Liam during the day and doing drop off and pick up has been more enjoyable than I could have imagined. Funny how all the financial fears just melted away once we said yes. Yesterday was an unusually warm and beautiful day, it was also MLK day. A day of reflection and a day to spend as a family. We spent the day playing spy and jumping on the trampoline. Pretty great. I love capturing my kids when they are joyful, here are a few joyful moments from the past days.
